EQUIPMENT

  • Seven stepping stones (painted spots) in a line

INSTRUCTIONS

The frogs in this camp have got themselves into traffic jam.

They need some help to get where they are going.

Put three team members on the end three lily pads (stepping stones) and three on the other end, both facing each other, leaving one free lily pad in the centre.

Now the three frogs at each end need to swap ends. 

  • They can only move forwards on the lily pads.
  • They can only move forward one lily pad or go around one frog at a time to land on a free lily pad.

You will have to think carefully to work this one out; the frogs have really got themselves into a jam!

SCORING

There is 100 points for solving the problem. 20 points for each time you complete it thereafter.
